BANANA PIE

Today A wanted a job and to do while I was making the dinner so I asked her to put the potatoes I had peeled and cut into the empty saucepan.  When I came back into the room she was chattering away to herself as she often does (and as I often remember doing when I was a child).

 

Me - What are you doing sweetheart?

A - Making banana pie Mommy.

Me - Oh ok; what is in banana pie?

A - Banana, carrots, parsnips.  It's erm simply delicious you know!
