Today I had planned to take you to the library, but D fell asleep after lunch and then woke up in a grump and made a fuss about going. So whilst he was upstairs having his grump we had a snuggle and read Dogger by Shirley Hughes*. I am so proud of you for being so grown up about not going to the library and so thankful to you for this lovely cuddle. Your baby brother seemed to enjoy this too.
*We love Shirley Hughes in this house, particularly Alfie and Annie Rose.
