Those of you who follow this blog will know that I really struggled to keep up with my 365 project last year and that I still have what feels like a million photographs in folders on the laptop that I am still ploughing away at blogging so there was always going to be very little chance of me undertaking another one this year. However despite my 2013 365 project not being what I had hoped it would be I hate the idea of not having a project to focus me on photographing and blogging the moments of delight in our everyday life and so this year I have scaled down the project somewhat to a 52 project. This project will probably mostly be focused on the children, but certainly not limited to the children as it was last year; it will simply be one post at the end of each week containing some our favourite photographs and moments from the past week.
Now I know you are mine so obviously I am not impartial, but I just can not believe that it is possible to look at your gorgeous face and not smile. My dear boy your smile fills my heart with happiness.
Look at all of those little creases; elbows, wrists, thighs and knees. If only I could love my own creases as much as I do yours. Maybe there is a lesson to be learnt there.
Now that you are more stable and not face planting at every opportunity we Daddy has started to sit you in the bath and, whilst you always love a good bath, this has given you a whole new lease of life when it comes to bath time. I wonder how long it will be before you are throwing water overboard and soaking your daddy.
You two are the best of friends even now; he smiles at you when you walk in the room and cries when you leave. He is in awe of you and you he. My wish is that whatever path life takes you on it always brings you back to each other
