DINOSAUR STOMP

My gorgeous big boy.

Today's 365 photo of you was supposed to be a still from a video I took of you doing the "Dinosaur Stomp".  You told me that you do this as a 'Wake Up Shake Up' at school so we found it on You Tube for you to do at home and it was so much fun to watch you and your sister having fun copying the moves.

I played my video of you after I took it and it was fine, but when I came to take a still from it I couldn't get it to play; it seems to have corrupted or something and I am nowhere near technologically savvy enough to know where to start in trying to retrieve it.

So in honour of your Dinosaur Stomp  today I have linked to the You Tube film.

LOSE YOURSELF

A - 365
You love to dance and sing and today was no different.  I love how one song can make you completely lose yourself.

CHECK OUT MY DANCE MOVES

Teeny - 365
Thankfully you don't take after your dad when it comes to your skills on the dance floor.

ROOM ON A BROOM FOR A GRUFFALO

A - 365
Today the little lady and I went to The Gruffalo's summer disco at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery whilst all three of my boys went to a birthday party.  It was run to coincide with their A Squash and a Squeeze exhibition which is an exhibition dedicated to Julia Donaldson stories (which we have not been to yet as I am saving it for the October half term).

The disco was £3 per ticket for children and nothing for accompanying adults and was two hours jam packed full of party games, dancing, a fancy dress competition and colouring and even included a drink for the little ones.  My little lady (and her friend who also went) had an amazing time and it was literally the best £3 I have ever spent.  We can't wait for another one!

SAMBA ROSETTE

A - 76/365
A goes to a little Ballroom and Latin dance class on Saturday mornings; there's no pressure and it is only half an hour, but she really enjoys it and they can do rosettes if they want to.  I wasn't sure how formal it would be or how she would cope with it so this time around she just did one which was the Samba.  She had a class yesterday and then the exam was today.  She was so excited and looked so cute all dressed up.  Obviously I was very proud of her, not just for dancing well though, but for being brave enough to do it in the first place and for sitting so sweetly afterwards and watching all of the other children do their exams.
